Man, last week was another crazy one. Well, until Wednesday. Thursday and Friday were much more chill and I took advantage of not having a boss and giving myself some breaks. It’s absolutely not easy, but I do love freelancing.
I then unplugged on Saturday (from my laptop, at least) while Husband updated the hard drive and did a bunch of other stuff that supposed to make this old thing run faster and better. It seems to be working so far…

I got some stuff up for my Services. I wouldn’t call it done, but I made some progress. And I think just getting that out there built some momentum…hopefully?
02 | make some sponsor decisions
Nah. Nope. Will be re-focusing on that this week.
This Week’s Wishes
01 | meditate
I’m not really into doing stuff for Lent anymore, but I figure it’s as good a time as any to try meditating (again.) And I know we’re a few days into Lent, but when they say it lasts “40 days” they’re not counting Sundays, so we’re actually right about 40 days until Easter now…anyway, I’m going for 5 minutes a day. That’s it. 5 minutes, anytime, every day. Just sitting and breathing. I may try some guided meditations and different techniques, but for now I want to keep it as simple (and hopefully therefore doable) as possible.

The next big step after building out the content.
03 | gym + speedwork
I took Onyx on a short run last week — she was haulin’ and I was wiped. I don’t think I have any speed in my legs anymore. There’s a simple solution to that…which is why I’ll be hitting the treadmill and cranking the speed up, up, up. And since I’ll be in the gym anyway, I might as well lift weights too… ::grumbles::
