Weekly Wishes: Wine Pleasefeatured

Weekly Wishes: February {the ponytail diaries}

I’m linking up with Melyssa at Nectar Collective today to share my wishes/goals for next week. Join in!

I’ll be honest — I’m writing this while also watching the SNL 40th Anniversary thing. So, you know, not really concentrating. (My favorite parts tend to be when the actors break character to laugh. And when Dan Akroyd calls Jane Curtin an ignorant slut. And all the Jeopardy skits. And Stefan. Oh, and more cowbell.)

Anyway, here’s hoping you had a good Galentine’s Day/Singles Appreciation Day/Valentine’s Day/whatever you celebrate. I took Onyx for a run in Del Mar (with a halfway point stop at Del Mar Dog Beach) and then Husband I went wine tasting and marveled how just how beautiful Temecula is. Then Sunday I ran the California 10/20 (and managed about an 8:00/mile pace despite some gastrointestinal distress during the first half of the race) and thoroughly enjoyed the finish line concert with Don Felder (formerly of The Eagles).

Last Week’s Wishes

01 | manage my deadlines
I absolutely kicked my deadlines’ ass. That’s all.

02 | not slack on running or yoga
Well, I did good on the running…not so hot on the yoga. So half.

This Week’s Wishes

01 | fricking business website
That’s it. This has got to get done.

02 | make some sponsor decisions
I want to start offering sponsor/ad space myself in a few months, so first I want to grow my little community here (you know, so I have something worth offering to potential sponsors), and I figure sponsoring a few blogs is a good place to start. But holy hell, there are so many and so many options and how do I pick the right ones?? (psst, any recs on good blogs to sponsor — i.e., good prices and results — would be cool)

What are your goals for this week?

The Nectar Collective

  • Kicking deadlines in the ass is my favorite thing in the whole world! I also didn’t do great on the yoga last week, but maybe we can make it up this week. Hope you have a great week.
